Hey lovelies! As some of you may know YouTubeRed got announced last night to the public and there has been some different opinions on it so I thought I would do an information and my opinion on the whole thing.
About it // YouTube Red is YouTube's new subscription service where you will be able to have no ads, listen in the background and download videos & music which it's being launched in the United States first at $10 per month which is cheaper than Netflix and Spotify.
YouTube is saying that it'll help content creators and viewers to have a better experience. They are also releasing more apps.
As what I've got from the whole thing is that it is an optional service but you will still be able to watch videos which will have ad's if you don't do the subscription. Also the creator will have to agree to the terms if they still want to earn or even upload videos - they will get 55% of the earnings from viewers, which is probably better than what we currently have.
My Opinion // After understanding this more, I think it actually could be a pretty good thing for Smaller YouTuber's and even bigger YouTuber's because it will most likely open new door's for everyone.
Just remember that it is an optional service and you DO NOT have to pay for it if you don't want to.
